The name PolarStar™ carries with it connotations
of constancy, dependability and safety. As the earth
turns, other stars move through the sky, but the
polar star holds its position in line with the axis of
the earth.

Through the ages, mariners have used the star to
guide them in their journeys. They reckoned their
bearings by its constancy, thereby avoiding traveling
in circles or in the wrong direction, as they moved
across the wide, unmarked seas.

The polar star is a constant in the midst of change.
It can always be counted on: it is an anchor in an
otherwise moving and unstable firmament.
